Lake Conroe is the 4th largest lake in Texas and is conveniently located only 30 minutes from Bush International Airport in Houston. The lake is 19 miles long and 5 miles wide and offers year-round fishing, boating and a variety of water activities. Boasting 14 marinas, six 18 hole golf courses and two 27 hole golf courses, along with shopping, sightseeing, you'll be amply entertained and pampered.

The Southern Empress is a replica of an authentic 19th century paddle wheel boat and offers lunch or dinner cruises around the lake. Adjoining Lake Conroe is Sam Houston National Forest and Goodrich Jones State Forest which offers hiking, birdwatching, horseback riding, camping. 

The Lake Conroe Family Aquatic Center and Water Park has two enclosed, heated pools along with interactive play structures, water blasters, mini slides, water curtain and two 22 foot water slides. This makes for a perfect family day of fun.
